Hi,
I’m picking up my 2026 Model 3 (Pearl White) in a couple of weeks, and I’ll be driving it to and from work every day on the highway (about 40+ miles one way). I’m most worried about stone chips on the bumper, hood, and front fenders - I’ve read stories of people regretting not having the film installed right after purchase.
My budget is limited, so I’m looking at Partial Front PPF (bumper, headlights, part of the hood, and fenders) instead of Full Front just to cover the most vulnerable areas, rather than paying twice as much for full coverage of the entire hood and fenders.
Anyone who’s had a Partial Front installation on a new 3 Series how noticeable is the edge of the film on the hood? Is it worth paying extra for the Full Front right away, or is partial coverage really enough to last 4 -5 years of ownership for city and highway driving?
