Reformed data nerd here - when I had my Prii (Prius plural?) I tracked EVERYTHING - since getting the Clarity I pretty much just drive and enjoy the quiet, comfort, and economy...
I assume they are reporting that back to the mother ship as well...Hehe, well I did find some cool stuff in the Apps inside the Navigation app, I'm guessing these are only on the Touring model since Base doesn't have Navigation?
Anyways, you can actually see a log with a map of every single trip you have taken with your car (at least for me with only around 1000 miles on the odometer, not sure how far back the historical data will go), how much distance you covered, and it even highlights each location you stopped and turned the car off at. That's good enough for me at this point.
Someone posted that in the "Miles Driven on 1 Tank of Gas Thread"
"The trip computer in the Clarity can be set to automatically reset upon every time you charge the car and every time you fuel the gas tank. I have Trip A set to reset after every gas fill up. I have Trip B set to reset after each charge. This makes it brainless to calculate your miles, fuel effiency, avg speed, ect..."
"To enable this feature: Go to the head unit, select settings, select vehicle, then meter setup, and select "Trip A" reset timing"
I had no idea I could do this!
One thing I feel like the Honda Infotainment system lacks is useful metrics like how many miles we've driven since last fill up, or last charge, or reports on how much battery vs. ice is being utilized. I am surprised they really didn't try to go after Toyota in this area, the Prius is jam packed with insane amounts of data for data nerds like me.
