Analysts are targeting $26 for the run up mostly on the self-driving capability release.

Still not posting a proft.

yeah, LCID is burning cash and following a similar path that RIVN did after IPO. I'm a prospector of LCID under $10. I'll get a handful of shares and ride it out.

one of them might 300x like tsla did. my dozen-ish shares could be worth something meaningful :D

Do you think LCID will make it long term? I even have my doubts about RIVN, despite doing better ATM. I think both of them could be bought by someone bigger. I just can't see them making it on their own. Periodic cash investment infusions/bailouts can't go on forever.

I think they are making the right moves partnering up with the likes of VW (Scout is doing the same) to leverage the economies of scale and share tech.

I haven't seen a single lucid on the road (I have at the race track i visit, LimeRock), but I do see several Rvian's around town daily. They are making a mark and starting to become more available. People seeing it makes people want it too.

bad pic but it's there on the right at limerock, may 2025 Trans Am race. They had a booth.

I Also think Rivian has the aftermarket potential that could make it as mod-friendly as the Wrangler platform.

Tailgating, camping, etc, it's a good platform to base off of for overlanding and going places.

Two no go's with Rivian are the headlights and being dead last at the bottom of CR's reliability report alongside Stellantis brands, and Lucid. At least the latter has good looking cars, although a bit expensive.

Yeah, the reliability is a thing. people still buy Jeeps every day. It's not a driving factor when you 'want' something. Odds are, if you're buying a 100k car, you probably have a second mode of transport too, a motorcyle, beater pickup, toy car, etc to drive while it's in the shop.
