Well, maybe, but I’m guessing this is simply calculated or guesstimated, not actually measured.

Sent from my iPhone using Inside EVs

It is measured. It is done through the same interface as the app. I don't know if the app reads SOH, but the car does.

Recurrent recommends keeping the battery between 30 and 80% SOC. I've seen studies showing EV LiIons have best range life with a 50% DOD. Yes I know mini says just keep it charged, but I'd like to maximise life.
With the battery buffer on my own Mini, that's an indicated 22% to 80% to get an actual 30-80%.
My EVSE can be set for a timed charge. I get 1% charge in 2.7 minutes, so I set according. Though once in the commuting groove, I find I can leave it at 2hr15 and be close. Time at high charge also affects life. I charge right up to usual departure time to minimise that.

I've been doing this maybe a month now. I've discovered that the battery needs a periodic float charge to keep the cells balanced. Just charging to 100% once a week wasn't doing that. Apparently, the i3 will balance the cells after at least 5 hours at 100%.

2 summer commutes is around 55%, I charge every other day
Yesterday in crosswinds from Ian, my commute was 42%. Hmm, I see daily charging in my future.

Did Recurrent indicate that somewhere? I don’t recall seeing any issue with my i3. I kept it at 80% and it always measured at the top of their battery health ranking for similar cars. Granted, someone else owned the car for the first 4 years in a cold climate.

Glad to see that they are now including the SE. I added ours.

No, the float charge info was from a forum post, somewhere. I noticed a slight drop in capacity. This has now been reversed with a couple of good float charges. I'll be trying a 6 hour float once per week now.
