It did not sell, reserve not met.If you're shopping, check Ebay. I just watched a 2018, new Touring sell for 27k in Ohio.

Dealers are selling new cars on ebay?
It wouldn’t surprise me at all if Honda has bailed on experimenting with this car in the middle states already and is only going to sell them going forward in those costal states with big EV incentives. They simply don’t sell in the middle of the country, especially now that gas got cheap again. Here in Indiana I have yet to see another. Almost nobody wants them, dealers aren’t equipped to repair anything complex or even charge them, etc.
I’m speculating of course and have no inside knowledge, and I might be flat wrong. But it’ll be interesting to see if 2019s ever appear mid-country or if they are already gone forever...
Of the choices available I would prefer the Ft Wayne car with the color I want and the high vin, but I'm reluctant to buy one place and service at another. Thoughts?
I take any dealer badging off within an hour of getting the vehicle home. I should start asking them to not put it on, but figure it isn't worth the hassle.Better yet tell them you don’t want any dealer badging as a condition of the sale.
Ah, with reserves I can see it as a way to advertise.

There is a Toyota dealer here that puts a dealer-advertising license plate frame on every vehicle that comes in for service, whether or not the vehicle was purchased there.I take any dealer badging off within an hour of getting the vehicle home. If they took my carbon fiber license tag frame off and replaced it with their crappy dealer frame, that would be the last time I went there for service. There is a Toyota dealer here that puts a dealer-advertising license plate frame on every vehicle that comes in for service, whether or not the vehicle was purchased there.
What do they do with the license plate frames already on the cars that come in for service? I spent real money for my custom frame (with a slogan that's way too small to read from further away than a couple of feet):There is a Toyota dealer here that puts a dealer-advertising license plate frame on every vehicle that comes in for service, whether or not the vehicle was purchased there.
They don't take off custom frames already there. But if there is no frame or one from another dealer, you get one of theirs for free. What do they do with the license plate frames already on the cars that come in for service?
