Good question. I don’t have any intel on a panoramic mirror, but for about 30 years I’ve been adjusting my side mirrors as directed in
this video and as a result I’ve never had
any problem with blind spots — even in the various convertibles I’ve owned, some of which had NO rear side windows, just a huge section of cloth top where rear side windows would be.
It takes a little time to get used to it, but once you do you’ll never want to set them any other way.
(And personally, the 360-degree view I enjoy out of my MINI might be the best I’ve had compared to any of my previous cars, but I still depend on and swear by the side-mirror adjustment tips outlined in that video I linked to.)
