Online features in my new Mini

Regarding SiriusXM, I’m in Canada and it worked when I picked up the car but stopped the next day! I had to register with SiriusXM to get my 3 months free trial (no credit card used).

Weird, my set up won't let me do it without a credit card.
 
Confirmed: my power button DOES pause the music on USB. How it remembers what you were last playing even when you take the drive with you when you leave I can't figure out.
 
Circling back to the "3G or newer" question earlier in this thread, today my local dealership performed the following on my 2021 Iconic SE:

Recall M840222 - Programming the Telematics Control Unit - 3G Sunset​

The service advisor described it as a software update. I speculate the change to software turns off/disables 3G-specific interfaces so it will always use 4G. Interestingly, they performed the 2 year check-up on Friday with no mention of this; either this is a brand new action or they finally received whatever they needed to perform the work. (I went back today to take care of rock chips in the windshield since that person wasn't available Friday.)
