Hi Scott,
Yes you are correct (objectively speaking), this Clarity “special lease offer” is worth taking and paying off;
I like to base my opinions on fact so in the attached photo you will find that I did exactly that.
MPEG shows a fully loaded Clarity Touring MSRP (you can add the pinstripe, floor mats, destination charge, blah blah) and In the cellphone screen you will see the first months Honda Lease payment screen.
It’s not fake, I’m not trying to pull a fast one on you.
I put 0 down and rolled taxes tags title into the monthly payments and I got all 3 year service vouchers during the negotiation alongside a monthly detailing and top-off of the gas tank every month during the detailing.
Like yourself, when I see something that is too good to be true I start investigating and questioning.
If I can get into a $42k Honda for $300/month and/or buy (or sell) it today for $25k at cost why would this not be the talk of all these thrifty forums ???
I think you nailed it on the head but I also think there is a deeper issue here.
I’ve never seen this Honda being advertised or solicited by the dealer.
Even the sales guys don’t know how to sell this car... but all owners I speak with love it and feel like it’s all the $40k car they purchased.
Am I missing something?
