What could they have done had their MINI put itself in Park a few cm beyond the charging cord length? There has to be a way to get the SE out of Park or it would be impossible to drag it onto a flatbed tow truck out in the cold, cruel world. I couldn't find anywhere in the Owners Manual that describes this automatic Park response to a depleted battery or what to do when it happens.
