I also ordered base model in gray. Ordered March 8th. No ETA yet on delivery, but as long as it arrives before September 7 I’ll be happy for rebate purposes.

I am in for a white base ordered March 21st. It is starting to look like it is around 12 weeks before you get a ETA. I am 5 weeks in, almost half way!!
 
I ordered mine on FEb 18th but apparently dealer ordered after a month to Honda Canada. Dealer was searching for a trade for a month! I contacted Honda Canada, same as described before it goes in a loop. Dealer says they have no ETA from Honda and Honda says contact your dealer. Latest I heard from dealer is it could take up to September to get my car. I have ordered White base model.

Maybe all models until a particular date will be made and shipped in the same shipment - which would mean, jan or march, delivery would be around the same time ?

i sure hope for you that is the case :-)
 
I ordered a red touring on March 26. I called the dealer today and he said they haven't received a single clarity since the date I ordered! :mad:

I think you need to ask a right question such as " The people who ordered the clarity ahead of me , what date did he ordered ".........This way you will have some idea for status of people ahead of you. Obviously we only have a month , so it will not come in month. people are waiting like 3 month
 
well this is discouraging, here is what I might do, if I don't get my White non touring by September, I will cancel my order and try again with the 2019 since it will be only out in the following 3 months. :(
 
it would have been nice if there was a honda dealer on this forum who could have provided some insights.

I called my Honda dealer and he left a voice message indicating : check back after 3 weeks. if we hear before that we will let you know. Ordered on 22 March.
 
There was a listing for a red touring at Image Honda in Hamilton, I called them and was told that they had accidentally posted a car that was already sold :(
VIN was: JHMZC5F38JC800508

Also the salesman said wait is about 6 months to a year for that dealership!

The Clarity is built in Japan while the Accord and Insight hybrids see built in the US. However, there is a question of the motor and battery supply . But I think the Canda issue was lack of forecast for the number of units they needed. Honda Canda probably didn't expect to sell many.

Sorry Jason, never noticed this message until now! I was dealing with Zack; I think he's their "Clarity guy". They didn't appear to have any stock left when I was there, so that options was off the table! With that said: this thread is depressing. If people with orders since early March still don't have an ETA, it makes me feel like I'm not going to be seeing my car any time soon. :(

The wait time is much worse than early March. miltondweller just got his ETA this past week after waiting 12 weeks, and iluvscuba has been waiting 13 weeks as far as I know.
