I edited my post after you quoted me. miltondweller got his ETA after 12 weeks.

the update i have is that my order is now on the production line, what they did not give was an ETA or a vin assignment confirmation. i will post once i have any updates, and you are right, it has been 12 weeks.

I assume that unless they were blowing you off, and indeed it is in production, the ETA can be estimated. I would guess around 1wk thru production and on a ship (but could add up to 2 extra weeks if ship is only once every 2 weeks), 2wk on the ship, and 1wk on train transport. Which gives you approx 4-6 more weeks to wait.

Yes, you are right, assuming they did not blow me off, 4-6 weeks from now on sounds reasonable. i hope it is early though. what is the status on your order, any updates yet ?

I am just a newbie having waited less than 6 weeks! I am still grasping at the faint hope that Honda will increase production for Canada and the total wait will be less than your ~16-18 weeks. In the meantime I just have to deal with the constant resentment at having to go regularly to a gas station :(

We are almost Half way , so keep it up...

I think dealerships are touching base with the customer at 12 weeks because that is right around the time the customer can cancel the sale in most provinces for failure to deliver a vehicle.

Dangle a carrot and the customer will keep waiting because it sounds like the light is at the end of the tunnel.

I just joined the forum to share info and vote on poll.
Called dealer today, "car is likely on a boat, no additional info"
Order back in March 5. Was originally quoted late April delivery (but I was highly skeptical)

GTA dealer, WHERE'S MA KAH!

There were 27 in December, and say around 20 dealer demo cars. That leaves 100 between dealer lots, being prepped for customer pickup, and Honda Canada cars for employees and demo cars for reviews. Some may have gone for standards testing too.
