Today, the latest Maps & Nav software have been released. Anyone brave enough perform the UPDATE to your car?

Make sure you delete your previous computer installed Navigation UPDATE Software before starting the process, or it will likely hang forever after the initial download. (Mine did).

My Update is still on hold. I downloaded with a new thumb drive, put it in my port and it says "no data available". Hyundai tech says I have to take it to my local Hyundai dealership and it will probably cost me $400. Not happy

That's strange. If the update is "available" for your vehicle via the Map Update software based on your VIN, and you were able to go thru the (hours long) download process to your USB, I would expect it to install when inserting in your USB of your car (and clicking Settings / General / Software Update) .... Are you saying you did all that & after selecting the Update in Settings you get that "NO DATA AVAILABLE"? Did you look at he contents of your USB drive to make sure the files were loaded onto the USB ? I think the HYUNDAI response is just the typical ting they say to get $$ from you.

Unfortunately, the update for Kona EV is not yet available in Canada. No date is provided for the availability of the update.

Be absolutely sure the update matches your Navigation version.

Yea, of course. Assuming you're properly using the (latest) NAVIGATION UPDATER software they provide, after logging in, you enter your Year & model & VIN, they direct you to your available download. If none is available for you, they won't offer you a download option.

It actually is and I completed the install today:
Old version before update:
Nav Update.webp

Downloaded the new version using 64 GB thumb drive from Nav website Canada (about 2 hours) then installed the drive into EV's USB c port (car in run mode, I know...I have some interior detail work to perform):
Nav Update 3.webp

The update screen showed in progress, so I waited some time ( again ~ 2 hours) with the car on for it to complete...nothing happened:(
So I shut the car off and restarted...then it updated within too long:)
Notice the message- "IF" the vehicle is turned off, the update will continue...They should have left the "IF" part out, you NEED to restart the car to complete.
Nav Update 2.webp

Then you get this after ~ 5 minutes :
Nav Update 4.webp

And check the new version installation by pushing set-up/general/SW info/update where the new installed version is displayed:
Nav Update 5.webp

Just thought I would post this to help anyone else with their updating procedure.
