InsideEVs revealed this amazing new Tesla Model 3 Performance. The "performance" version of every other EV now seems irrelevant. This updated Model 3 Performance, after taking the federal EV tax credit, is $2,250 cheaper than the Model 3 Long Range, which does not qualify for the tax credit. It even looks better than the updated Model 3 with front and rear fascia exclusive to the Model 3 Performance.

Look at what's included:
  • Stiffened chassis for better cornering
  • Better looking front and rear fascia providing a 5% reduction in drag
  • Well-bolstered and ventilated seats
  • Carbon-fiber interior trim
  • Rumored 82 kWh battery
  • Reduced range of 296 miles gives you more chances to show off this car at the Supercharger
People who want to strengthen their neck muscles with acceleration therapy won't be holding their breath waiting for the Volvo EX30 4WD or the Kia EV3 GT. What will this do to Corvette sales?

IMO, all it's missing is a HUD to keep track of your outrageous speed more easily. People on the long-in-the-tooth Tesla Roadster reservation list should get a discount on the Model 3 Performance to reward them for their infinite patience.

I thought the front bumper, side cheeks had gone away:

Did they bring them back for just the performance?
