New Generation Kona EV

Not a word from Hyundai about a free adapter. I bought my third party one some time ago and have used it on the 2021 Kona and on my 2024 EV6. Both worked great, once I figured out how to get the Tesla app and set up my payment.

I wasn't really even holding my breath for the "free" part. I'd just like a branded, safe option.

This one is available and works well, sold by Hyundai parts dept at your local dealer and here is the part#

North American Charging Standard (NACS) adapters will be available to Hyundai EV customers during the second half of 2025 in combination with the revamped Hyundai App. We haven’t finalized the details yet, but as always, we aim to provide Canadian customers with a convenient process and valuable product offering and we will share details directly with Canadian owners as soon as possible."

Free? I doubt it, but stranger things have happened.

Just a note... if not in stock be sure to order the same description as marked on the adapter (CCS1 car to NACS) as they actually have a second one (NACS car to CCS1) for the newer models equipped with a NACS charging port
