New flex charger with 2023 Mini

Got the bracket parts from the 3D print shop today. They look great, with a perfectly smooth fit between the “male” part that attaches to the case and the “female” wall mount. I also received two Heavy Duty Easy EV holsters from Grizzl-E (via Amazon) today, one for next to the EVSE and the other right outside the garage door for when I need the indoor space for a project or whatever.

My new house was wired for EV. Just need an electrician to install the 14-50 wall plug. If I understand this correctly, I can then just use the charger that comes with the mini and leave it in the garage. I’d probably buy a separate level 1 charger to carry in the car in case I’m somewhere and can’t find a public level 2 charger.

I just ordered Mini Cooper SE 2023 few weeks ago. My Mini dealer has show me the new Level 1/2 charge that I will be getting. It is very small and have two cables for the wall. One is for Level 1 and one is for Level 2. The charger is about the size of one roll of Bounty. It has a wall mount plate which allow easy remove from wall when you leave your house and take with you :). My dealer told me she is driving a Mini Cooper SE 2023 too and she just take the charger off the wall when she leave her house every day.
