New Clarity Plug-In Owner with questions

Finally took the plunge after scouring through everyone's comments on this site for the past few months. Thanks to you all! Still getting my bearings after a long day (and well into the night) of negotiating and haggling through the final paperwork and tutorial. I'm a little nervous about plugging into an outlet which has another outlet where we plug in our sprinkler timer. Is it okay to plug into an outlet with two outlets? It's just a 120 volt, but at least it would enable me to get a partial charge overnight. The other question: I set the navigation to direct me home. But once I new where I was going, I couldn't figure out how to shut off the navigation system. There must be a simple way to do this that I'm overlooking, I hope. Lastly, the person at the dealership who tried to sync my iPhone 6 to the car was unable to load my phone contacts. She said it was because I had an update that I needed to do on my phone. We sat there for a good hour waiting for it to download, it even asked me to delete apps to clear room. But to no avail. We eventually gave up and she said I'd need to go to the Apple store to get them to troubleshoot why the update was having so much trouble. Has anyone else encountered this?
 
I had some issues to sync up my iPhone 6 but it turned out that I needed it to update my phone first, maybe check if that’s the case for you too.
How much did you end up paying for your clarity if you don’t mind sharing? I have a friend who is looking to buy and your info is way more recent than mine to better inform him.
 
Sprinkler timers only use about 20 watts of power. If you plug into that circuit and if there is at least a 15 Amp breaker protecting that circuit, you will be fine. Even if you should overload the circuit when charging the car, the circuit breaker will trip and no harm done to your new car.

There is. On the right side of the screen is a cancel button. It is octagonal (shape of a stop sign) with an "X" in the middle. Cancels navigation with one press.
