Navigation Map Update available

I've not checked, but I would think the version is in the car menus somewhere and on the Garmin site when you download. Checking both would save a lot of hassle and time.

Just went to the website above - YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING - start car and Nav app - insert USB and wait until it says process then go to computer - download update (don't turn off the car) go back to car with USB and continue install - anywhere from 1-4 HOURS - with car running all the time. That's ridiculous! So much for upgrading Garmin...

I updated and for some reason the NAV now takes me to some destinations the LONG WAY!! I always check google maps before I drive somewhere to see what is quickest route with less traffic. I regret updating.

I've never left my car running. After the USB is removed I turn it off then back on before reinserting it.

I've not checked this version of Garmin, but most have options available for how it gets from one location to another. The update may have reset it to a less desirable option.
