welp, I spoke too soon. The mats are too big! They must be for a Countryman or maybe the 4door version of the Mini Cooper. At least they tried?
Lucky you
At least your sales person tried.
When I inquired with my Sales from NickAlexander, all he said is that is how the 2 door Mini's are delivered with. Even the ICE Cooper 2 Door only has front mats.

I gave MiniUSA a call for clarification and they stated that's how they are delivered. MiniUSA Customer Rep even stated that if I needed mats for the back seats, I can get them from the dealership parts !!!

You got scissors! dont worry about the edges fraying. Nobody is ever going to step on them.

Sorry to hear that. You are welcome to take my misfit floor mats if you wish!

Thanks for the offer. After I realized that the missing rear mats was not an oversight, I went online and purchased all weather mats for front and back. Waiting for their arrival.

With the ongoing chip shortage and low inventory, selling vehicles during these times are much easier for the dealers and their margins are higher compared to the old times.
So, cutting out items left a bad taste.

Glad you found a solution. Left me with the same feeling until I found out it was done by the manufacturer, not the dealer. I'm ok with it now but just wish it was communicated to us beforehand. Not fun to find out after the fact.
