Level 2 charger only charges to 70%

I’ve owned a 2021 Mini Cooper SE since July of last year. Just yesterday I finally installed a level 2 charger at home. It’s a Grizzl-E Classic. Today I charged my Cooper for the first time but it would only charge to 70%. Further attempts at charging it produced no results. Does anyone know what may cause charging to cease at 70%? I would appreciate any insights and am happy to answer questions. I am located in the USA. Thank you for any help you can provide!

Am I correct in assuming your Level 1 EVSE has no problem (other than taking a long time) charging your MINI to 100%?

Have you tried any public Level 2 EVSEs to see if they can charge your MINI to more than 70%? Do you know anyone else with an EV who could try your EVSE?

It would also be interesting to see if a public DCFC charging station can fill your battery with electrons.

I've had my 2021 SE since August 2020 and have never had a problem with either of my two EVSEs or with any public EVSE.

The Mini has a menu setting to specify max charge that some set to 80%. Could that have been set to 70% at some point? The Grizzl-E EVSE is a dumb switch unless you enabled its optional wifi internet connection. So the max charge is controlled by the Mini. I've not had an issue with the Grizzl-e when its optional wifi is disabled.

2021 SE does NOT have any menu setting to limit the max charge--at least mine didn't. However, it does have menu setting (in-car and in-app) to set a "charge window", where it will only charge during that window of time (which can also include specific days). There is also a menu setting for the maximum charging current it will pull on Level 1 & Level 2 charging.
