I've started to see a ABS type fault on sharp right bumpy turns. Eventually lights up several warnings. Suggests it OK to continue driving moderately. It clears with 15 seconds. The only driving difference I notice is regen is disabled. Haven't had to do any hard braking.

I'm thinking a loose wire or low brake fluid.... but where is the brake fluid reservoir on the SE? I see coolant and wiper wash... but am otherwise blind and the manual doesn't mention it as far as I can tell.

Wheel bearing? If you are able to safely lift the vehicle, compare the play of the tire by pushing/pulling at the 12 and 6 o’clock positions.

Sorry to hear about your "issue", the brake reservoir is under the 12V Battery cover lid, have to remove the weatherstrip around the cowl, couple of nuts and cam release hold downs and lid lifts up.........
Possible loose or damaged ABS sensor wire (pretty flimsy)

I was driving up a parking lot ramp under construction slowly off camber turn to right, a wheel or two may have left earth, may have scraped something... I parked and by the time I returned a few hours later it had cleared. Thought perhaps just one of those intermittent faults that tend to plague EVs. But guess not.

I wonder if construction debris caught a sensor wire and damaged it. I'm just going to have to pull the wheels I guess... don't have a lift.

All the wheels are solidly attached, but that does not necessarily mean the wheel bearings are good enough. I don't see any underbody scratches. I'll have to start checking some of the ICE forums. Maybe pull out my scanner and remember how to use it. :)

I do see many reports that a bad bearing can be picked up by the sensor, along with a dirty tone wheel. I've not got around to pulling a wheel yet.

You can see how flimsy the sensor wire is in Rexsio #2 posting, so it maybe possible it got loosen or damaged when your wheels got off the ground?

I had a wheel bearing go bad in the rear, and I could hear it right away even though it wasn't very loud, due to lack of engine noise in the SE. If it is a wheel bearing I'd be surprised if it wasn't noticeable.

The Mini has been behaving for a few days but today the errors popped up and then cleared. So I hooked up Car Scanner hoping to ID which wheel sensor was the issue and got this report. There was no ABS DTCs found but some are sensor related I'll need to figure out which one. Otherwise I think I'll clear the codes and start fresh before taking it into the dealer. Some of these look like left over from service, incidental, or a 12V glitch.

This turned out to be a bad driver side front wheel sensor. The dealer tech spent some time trouble shooting as it was intermittent and passed tests most of the time. Did I say that tracking down an intermittent fault is not one of my favorite things..

~US $700, $500 labor $200 part.
