I would expect Tesla will have to extend the cables on these chargers, given the CT's proximity to the bollards and charge port location. Maybe a hitch receiver dock could be an alternate for positive location.
Additionally, if 2 of these are charging side by side, is there enough room to get out?:confused:

Welcome back Alex Goy, and new guest host Patrick George.
Not the most favorable reviews on the New Gen Kona EV, needs faster charging, good for errands, and "BONGS" too much.
As suggested, it depends on the price point, as to what features are offered if it does indeed enter a higher one, and the value included with that.
 
Confession time about why I don't watch/listen to some podcasts:
  • Already have two EVs - I really don't need a review of some future EV given my 'fleet' for a single, retired engineer.
  • EVSEs - I have one at home and another JuiceBox 40 Pro I maintain at a local business.
    • Plugshare tells me all I need to know about charging.
  • Thank you for the A2Z pointer as my Tesla CCS-1 kit arrives Monday.

Episode 181.

I am a bit surprised no mention of Kia/Genesis media release concerning NACS compatibility. This would have blended well with the Hyundai NACS release story as it specifically mentions the autopay convenience together navigation showing availability, status and pricing. Will also be a huge benefit with nav pre-conditioning to enable the fastest charging rate.
 
Episode 182.

The ability to carry a scooter or e-bike in the back of the Kia EV3 and use the V2L outlet to charge them (as brought up by Patrick) is important and also as Hazel mentions the benefit to aerodynamics compared to the drag from an external carrier.
Two points on this:
(1) I would expect the charging ability in the rear area only be useful when the car is parked (not in run mode) - limiting recharging of the e-bike not on the way to or between destinations for example.
(2) The safety aspect - include appropriate support hardware (hooks, brackets etc) and strapping locations so the e-bike does not become a flying missile in the event of sudden deceleration.
