How many miles on your Mini SE?

19 months /13,000 miles

I’ve only slowly put on miles compared to the Bolt that gets 20k/ year. But yesterday alone I put on almost 300 miles in a single trip.

Thanks this explains. I’m not jealous about a milage I wish can drive that much once I retired my driving is 3000-4000 miles on my SE when I was working I put in 30 years on4 cars 125000 mile’s each in New York City over 1/2 millions miles . Just I wish I have Mini Cooper SE than !p

What we win ? I put $10 to a pull for a winner to buy a trophy for a winner who reach 100000 miles or maybe Mini of USA provide one which I believe they can afford!Once I think you read that message can we record our MILAGES once a month bc this recording milages every day preoccupied peoples to much and we can crash a system unnecessary. Is long time to go reach 100000 MILES . Thanks and consider what I propose.REX .

Thought about making this into a google sheet but I like not having to leave this page. I wish there was a way to make a table in here though.
 
We've driven our wonderful SE 10,681 miles in 23 months. I want this car to last forever, so piling up the miles is definitely not my objective. I'm happy to use it for errands and fun drives on local country roads.

My wife and I schedule our respective outings so we each get to take the SE. Our poor Honda Clarity PHEV (a really nice car in its own right, but not much fun) gets out of the garage only when we take long trips. We've driven it only 14K miles in nearly 5 years, so our SE is catching up quickly.

This past weekend we asked our Clarity to do its thing and take us on a long trip. It exacted revenge for our neglect by refusing to cool the cabin in the 90-degree weather. It's sad that this otherwise nice car chose to be peevish rather than maintain the tradition of reliability set by our past 7 Hondas.

If someone had asked me 40 years ago whether in 2022 my Japanese-built Honda or my a British-built Mini would be the more reliable car, I would have laughed in their face and sniffed around for the odor of funny smoke.

Agreed. Things certainly have changed. One of my early cars was a 1970 MG Midget, no thanks to Lucas.

In 1979 I bought a new Subaru when they were practically an unknown brand. An amazing quality built FWD car.

I’m headed out to the garage now to check for any Lucas components on the SE…
