Hello everyone, I'm looking for some help with a really weird and frustrating issue I've been having with my 2026 Ioniq 5 when trying to charge at home with the Ampure Go 2 level 1 charger provided by the dealer.
A couple things to note first. The car has no issue charging at a public fast charger. The Power brick on the ampure charger shows a solid blue light. I've tested all my outlets with an outlet tester and there doesn't appear to be any issue with them. I've tried charging from multiple outlets including both standard and GFCI outlets, to no avail.
When I plug the charger on, I get the "clunk" noise the car usually makes when it interfaces with a charger. However, the charge port lights just blink continuously. Meanwhile, at the dashboard, a notification appears saying "V2L conditions not met." I am not attempting to use the V2L feature in any way shape or form, but it appears to think that's what I'm trying to do.
On the app, it says vehicle plugged in and not charging, and I'm bombarded with notifications saying "V2L Draw Started Successfully" Or "V2L Draw Completed successfully" or, bafflingly, also "Your vehicle does not support V2L"
It doesn't even say "charging failed" or anything, it's like it's completely misinterpreting the charger as a V2L device and I have no idea what to do about that.
