Help! Charging door won't open!

Unfortunately the cable only unlocks the charge plug, not the door.

Save problem. Found fix. Try this:
(1) Yesterday noticed some grit in the port. Of course was in a rush and didn't clean it
(2) Today = stuck! Banged and clicked with no result
(3) Turned car "ON". Noted my "auto" button was off. I pressed it ONCE to AUTO and once again so the blue light on the button went off.
(4) Opened NO PROBLEM!

Hi! Turning on the car before using the charging flap increases the voltage of the auxiliary battery, which often seems to help the electric lock.
