Grizzl-e classic EVSE hacking

Has anyone dumped the firmware, reverse engineered the OCCP esp board, or otherwise poked at the grizzl-e classic? I want to build a board to toss my station of my zigbee mesh but I need to know more about host that connector works and I feel like by now someone has already done this.

I should have been more precise. I own 3 JuiceBox 40 Pro then the company that bought them destroyed the servers and ended useful support. This meant the server based configuration software was buggered.

OpenEVSE offers a controller board and open source code. Swapping out the controller gave me full access to the operating software and via WiFi, configuration of the charger. The power cables and housing remained the same. Plus I have source code access to the software.

I bought two controller boards, $100 each, and operated one with the second board a spare. I gave the operating one to my brother when he bought my 2017 BMW i3-REx.

You might find the OpenEVSE “brain transplant” easier than modification to the original part. It is well worth asking if your desired functionality is part of their future plans?

GOOD LUCK!
