The automaker says the electric F150 will hit the market ‘before 2022’.

Not soon enough

Is it going to be a day late and dollar short?. Remember it is just not Tesla. Rivian should be there before that (expected end of 2020). In which case they would have a whole year or more to work out the kinks. They are already testing out their trucks and Ford may be using their platform in which case the delay is understandable.

Since Ford is one of Rivian's owners I think they could care less either way about who gets to the market first, and Tesla is way behind, and Tesla sales are struggling, they will not have money for the truck (development and factory) after the Y.

Looking forward to the day when I get "iced" at a public charging location and find out much to my surprise its not just another gasser F150

And then the hatred inside you will burn like the sun when you realise it's an F150 PHEV that isn't even plugged in.
