Floor mats - same as non-EV?

When I'm looking for floor mats for a 2023 Kona a bunch pop up but they say they are not compatible with the Kona EV. Is this a real thing or are they just denying matching because it hasn't been checked? I'm under the impression that the drive train and maybe some dash features are the only difference between the EV and non-EV. So everything else on the body should swap - doors, seats, hatchback, etc. Why would the floor mats not line up?

Yes, yes, tires+rims are different also.

I saw this discussion:

There are links for EV and non-EV floormats. When I clicked through it appeared that the non-EV ones had a larger cut-out around the center console, perhaps for a transmission tunnel? There are AWD models of the non-EV Kona.

They appear to be different part numbers:

EV:
  • K4F14-AC001

Non-EV:
  • J9F14-AC001 - Fitment Options: Kona (SE,SEL,Limited)
  • J9F14-AU100 - Fitment Options: Kona (N-Line, N)

Wow, those seem to have a large set of subtle differences between EV and ICE.
