EV Routing Apple maps

I cannot get apple maps to talk to the car . I have read the manual(s) enbaled privacy but cannot set my car in the preferences. there should be a button that says eV routing or connect to apple maps in the mini appp, its does not appear.
 
I haven't seen that MINI has implemented Apple Maps EV routing. I'm not sure BMW has added it yet either. Basically car makers have to update their vehicle apps to provide battery details to an Apple API for routing, and with my F-150 Lightning Ford had to actually do a software update to the vehicle to get the feature working. So maybe the J01 with OS9 may get it eventually, but I'm skeptical the F56 SEs will ever see it. Just like we're still waiting in the United States for our NACS/J3400 adaptor...
