SE 120 miles on a single charge Year 2022

Point of reference - in the Midwest (US), the small towns are all almost the distance apart as one can ride a horse in one day.
Another point - the first electric car was in 1838.

But that was 111 years ago without highways

Sure.
But you now get same/more range in a vehicle with heating and air conditioning, with faster acceleration, higher top and cruising speeds, better handling, better braking, faster charging, advanced safety systems that help prevent an accident and protect you if you are in one, a multi media entertainment system, satellite linked navigation with charger mapping etc, etc, etc.
Strip all that off and reduce the Mini to what the Detroit offered and see how far it goes.
I don’t get your point?

My point was that 100 years ago they were able build a car with LED acid rechargeable batteries and SE is doing only 120 miles .point was also to create discussion
