Thank you for your research. I just got a call from my dealer telling me that the reason my and many other MINI Coopers haven't shipped is due to the shipping company being hit hard by the coronavirus. My salesperson hopes my car will arrive before September. Now I feel bad for the shipping company employees--they shouldn't have to suffer just so I can have a new car.
I totally agree with that sentiment. While I'm anxious to get my SE in a timely fashion, my daily commute is 0 miles for the foreseeable future because I'm truly fortunate that I can work from home.
The Wallenius Wilhelmsen site does indicate they are operating at reduced capacity due to COVID-19, but doesn't otherwise indicate hardship. I guess that masking is to be expected for the public-facing web site.
