I can confirm it's removable (heat+fishing line, clay bar for the residue). There will be a subtle outline but it's easily fixed with a bit of hand polishing.

I regret not having the "energetic yellow" blade on my car (MINI wouldn't allow it with Chili Red). And I also couldn't get the energetic yellow mirror caps, but those I didn't like. MINI provided ??? gray (I forget the specific color) side mirror caps, which I think are pretty unique.
Just wondering, are you saving your gorgeous MINI-E logo plate or would you be interested in parting with it? (No, I don't plan to affix any more MINI-E logos to my SE.)

The 2022 was "de-electrified" enough for my liking. And of the handful of people who have asked about my Mini "in the wild", none have thought it was electric. (I estimate maybe five or six strangers in five months have talked to me about the Mini) They always react with "oh, really? That's electric?".

If I can find it you can have it! But unfortunately it seems to have disappeared from the pile of stuff on my workbench I haven't yet put away so I'm not sure if I accidentally tossed it (I removed the badge months ago)

Mine was parked out front... @KD4KCD must've gotten there before the first charge was complete. Can't blame him though.

The dealer probably didn't have an allocation or existing slot. I got lucky and my dealer had one left and we were able to change the configuration for my order. Then it just had to wait for the summer break and started moving quickly after that (though it seemed like a long time at the time).

I called 3 dealers in NorCal and none of them could get it done before next year. I called a dealer in LA and they must have still had an allocation to get it built this year.

Dunno. I got the update on the my garage mini site. On the site, i did not see port location. I was able to get an allocation spot from dealer. I had to ask for it. Yet, they were helpful and gave me the spot quickly. Still at “the port.”

If you call the mini hotline they will tell you the ship it is on. Any word on if your car will get the HK stereo system? (If you got sig+ or iconic) I’m wondering if the chip shortage is still affecting that.

Well maybe not. Dealer said it was in USA. I called mini and they said it was at port in UK. Seems like my garage site should have 2 port updates, it just has the one and next update is on the way to the dealer. Nice

I think got wrong info from dealer. Mini is telling me it is at UK Port. Not sure why mini garage site does not show 2 ports (UK and USA). All good as I long as I get this year!
