You got through before the warehouse strike set in - I bet you will still get your car this month!
I wish it could be so, but it'll be June before it's delivered to my dealership. There's a few ships that'll be heading out from Southampton to Baltimore at the end of this week/early next week. Assuming it makes it on to one of those ships it'll be the end of the month before arriving at port here in the states. Then another week or two to make it to my dealer (I ordered the Black Waistline trim which will be installed at the VPC once at port here, so that seems to add another week to delivery).

Either way, it should be soon and I'm grateful no major hiccups so far!

I am in the paint baby! WOOO HOOO!

I expect it to be on the Grand Cosmo leaving May 25th. Arriving at Oxnard Thursday June 16th. Arrive at the dealer for when they open on Tuesday June 21st, and pick up on the 22nd.

If I miss the Cosmo, it will probably be on the Heritage Leader, push everything back one week and pick up on June 29th. If my mom was still around she would be pushing for the 29th.

I was just this morning imagining what my mom would think of my new MINI if it gets delivered right near the one-year mark of her passing last July… [sorry the forum doesn’t have a “hug” emoticon]

I think my roof rails get installed there too. I doubt I will make the next few ships you mentioned. Just hoping to get it by June 20 (my birthday) but its out of my control. I'm starting to get excited again :)

Do the roof rails get installed at the VPC and not at the Oxford factory?

I read it takes at least a week to get from VPC to the dealership depending on the carrier transport availability, then a day or two at the dealership for PPI and whatnot.

Is anyone going to request that the dealer not pull off all the plastic so you can do it yourself? I've seen a few Youtubers do that in the past. Kind of fun if you're into the whole "unboxing" thing

I added my Canadian SE Premier order to the tracking sheet. It’s currently scheduled for June 24/2022 production on the order sheet I received. Unfortunately I’ll have to rely on dealer updates as we don’t get Mini Garage tracking in Canada.

That is about what it was for the red one.

Factory. The store by me orders all with the roof rails because the headliner, etc has to come out, drill into the roof... If it is on the lot, it has the roof rails. Also, it is CO where a lot of people put stuff on the roof.

I may do that. I want to ceramic coat it and dont want to have to hope i removed whatever crap they put on it. Nothing comes between me paint and me ceramic (old guys get that one?).

I’m sure I sound like a broken record, but where did you order it and on what date? June 24 seems awfully far out.

I added the details to the tracking spreadsheet but I ordered from Mini Calgary in Alberta, Canada on April 28. Order was confirmed May 3. Considering all other EV’s in Canada have a 1-2 year wait I’m happy with the timeline provided by Mini but of course there’s always potential for delays.

Huh. Ok. I ordered at a big Montreal dealership March 18 and got a production number a week later but I still don’t have a “production date” or a VIN number. That’s why I asked. I’m very excited for you, too!

Thanks. We’ve never factory ordered a car so this is all new to us. When we ordered we were told we were getting a June allocation. Our order confirmation had the following info listed as well as the production number. We haven’t received a VIN yet but likely to early for that.

Production Dates
Req. Prod: 22/06/2022
Sub. Prod.: 22/06/2022
Conf. Prod.: 24/06/2022
Quota: 2022/6

My SE dispatched from the factory today. Does anyone know which ships are headed to Baltimore next? The soonest I could find was one on the 16th, arriving to Baltimore on the 25th.( Too bad I'm leaving out of country for a week on the 29th! )

Since I've been at port since April 29th, I've been monitoring the ships like a hawk!

Next ship coming to Southampton headed to Baltimore should be Thalatta (WW ship). It's headed to Zeebrugge today, then should be off to Southampton before heading to Baltimore.

There's also the Toronto and Olympian Highway that are currently in Bremerhaven making the same journey to Zeebrugge, Southampton, and then Baltimore.

All three of those ships should be arriving in Baltimore around the end of May. (Thalatta for example seems to be 4 Days ahead of schedule to Zeebrugge)

Note that my SE arrived at port on the 29th, and there were 2-3 ships coming into port around that time and I still didn't make it onto them. So your luck may vary as to how quickly you can get on a ship.

I've attached current shipping schedule for K-Line and WW.
