After a quick experiment with Photoshop (ie. not a perfect Energetic Yellow match), I think you made the right decision to go with the white mirrors to match your white top.
Nice! No need for photoshop though. You can configure a new SE with this setup on the Mini configurator website. :D Yours looks pretty close though and, yes, this look is a little garish and busy for me.

Look what I happened to see at the dealer when I was there to get my summer wheels put on. Surprised me, but there it was. Yellow mirrors with a white roof doesn't look bad at all.

I agree the Energetic Yellow mirrors go well with that white/white SE, but even though I'm a true Maize & Blue (University of Michigan) alum, I think the white mirrors go better than yellow with a white roof and an Island Blue body. The yellow mirrors would go great with an all-blue SE.

I also think the yellow mirrors would go great with an all-BRG SE, but MINI won't let anyone choose yellow mirrors with BRG (respect for Lotus has been speculated).

I believe the body color is white silver, which looks pretty good. And while that's not a color combination that suits me, I love that our favorite car has so many customizable components.

You're right, of course. I should have been more specific on which variation of white can be ordered for the SE's body. AFAIK, this fleet of Biogena SEs are the only silverless white SEs.

Wasn't your production date 4/28? so 2 days to finish the build?

Mine slipped from 5/3 to 5/4 today, so I'm curious when I'll move to Exterior Body Assembly. Sounds like 5/2? maybe
You're correct. Still showing 4/28, so about 2 days to build. (Which I believe lines up with other folks as well.)

Just called the hotline for check on my production date. They are saying it is scheduled for week 20 which is the week of May 8th!! Exciting but still a good long wait. Since it is going to Port Hueneme it is going to be long boat trip. I actually tracked a previous car's boat journey and even got webcam shots of it going through the Panama Canal. :p https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1186399&highlight=BESS
See post 28. Yes, I have a sickness.

Nice! Do you happen to know does BMW/Mini only use Wallenius Wilhelmsen for shipments to Port Hueneme from Southampton? Looks like WW has vessels leaving April 28th, May 9th, May 12th, and June 8th all heading to Port Hueneme. My SE arrived at the port yesterday...trying to figure out what boat it's going to end up on...obviously the one leaving on the 28th would be ideal though I don't know how realistic that possibility is.

I remember your first post was a reply to me about ACC, around the end of March. When did you place your order (what date)? Another member from my city ordered 10 days before me and just got a Week 19, I’m still waiting for a build week.

The Canadian site still hasn’t been updated to 2023, so here is basically exactly my build, from the US configurator. I plan to use any deletion credits — right now, looks like only “alarm” is off the books — towards some dealer accessorizing: nano-ceramic tint (they haven’t gotten back to me with a price yet) and Night Jack mirror caps. I will get a shorty antenna elsewhere, and will tint the side markers and rear fogs myself. Probably getting the EU light switch as well, and likely the Fitcam X. I have the OBD dongle and BimmerCode ready, too. Now I just need a VIN and a build date!

I ordered back in November, then got canceled for the 2023. Mine went into production on the 18th, went to Exterior body assembly, on 24, and 26th its in the paint booth.

Mine is also scheduled for that week(5/9 prod date showing). Also coming to Port Hueneme. They will prob be ship buddies.

Last year my mom’s SE came to Port Hueneme on a NYK Line vessel.

Thank you. Looks like NYK has two vessels leaving Southampton with stops at Port Hueneme on the 29th of April as well as two additional vessel later in May…I’ll probably ping my MA once the status changes from at port to in transit on my garage…too many potential vessels for me to take a reasonable guess.

My order says prod date as 4/28. Would be awesome to be on this same boat but I'm guessing that's wishful thinking for me.
