Another EV1 fan. Hard to believe that the EV1 is 25 years old, but still looks very futuristic. WOW! Beautiful car. I’ve never forgiven GM for crushing them. Bad call.

I forgot how similar to the SE the EV1 was. Two-door, a solid nose instead of a grille (well, pre-2022 SE style), mirror caps in an accent color...

Track my MINI still shows "At the Port". My dealer has never been communicative. In all but one case I have contacted them. I had my trade re-evaluated last Friday and the Sales Manager anticipated I could take delivery on Monday, Sept 27.

Hope you get yours this week!
 
I ordered and got a Production Number on Aug 8. It went to "Scheduled for Production" on Sept 7 and to "Production Begins" on Sept 13 then to "Body Assembly" today Sept 22.

I assume that MINI of Austin has received a lot of MINIs this week...they've kept me informed and sent me a little "gift" to tell me it's coming soon (potted succulents). I figure they're processing 10 or more new MINIs this week....I have no idea, but I hope they tell me to pick it up in the next few days.

You've got that MINI of Austin/Penske magic on your side. Just spoke to the Sales Manager here in SA. My MINI is still sitting at Galveston, all paperwork complete and released but the trucking company has not picked it up yet. It "might" be in SA by Monday. Then probably one more day after that before I can pick it up.

Nice touch MINI of Austin on the "green" gift.

Nothing wrong with that at all Rob. Keep the updates coming. "Real" progress on anyone's build will definitely relieve the anxiety of those still waiting back in the line!
