Everything else was slow as snails so I'm not sure how that part went so quick.four day trip from the port to IL seems pretty fast. Rush delivery for xmas?

My status just updated today! I haven’t looked into what ship it might be on.Did your Mini ever get loaded onto a ship?
My mini is en-route to Brunswick and is supposed to arrive tomorrow. Here's the crazy thing... The Hawaiian Highway left Southampton 5 days after the Donington, but it arrived in Brunswick on Dec 13th - 4 days earlier.

I was wondering what other peoples experience was with track my mini's website. Do you think it was a few days ahead, behind, or in sync with the actual status of the car.
Some folks have waited up to 5 weeks at the port for a ship. I waited 18 days. There was a one day delay from when my SE boarded the ship and when the mini site was updated.
A soon to arrive ship headed to your port is not a guarantee that your MINI will get rolled on.
I got the impression that mini's website was pretty in sync, but that's just an assumption.
Yikes! My car was "dispatched from factory" on 11/30 and has been sitting "at the port" ever since. Disheartening to hear I may only be halfway through the wait time.6 Weeks at the port for this guy.
I ordered my Mini SE October 15th. It went through the production cycle and entered 'At the port' on November 28. Today the status was finally updated after nearly a month to 'In Transit' (Was actually loaded yesterday), so it's been about 4 weeks wait myself at that point. Hopefully it's not much longer for you.Yikes! My car was "dispatched from factory" on 11/30 and has been sitting "at the port" ever since. I think 6 weeks is unlikely, and I hope for your sake it gets loaded on a ship soon. The holidays might add to the delay as well. My mini sat at the dock in Southampton for 32 days, and then it was on a ship for 23 days. Now, my mini has been "At the Port" in Brunswick Georgia for 5 days. God knows when it will make it to the dealership at this point.Yikes! My car was "dispatched from factory" on 11/30 and has been sitting "at the port" ever since. You took delivery during a rare cold winter in Florida. Did you use the heat or just the heated seats on the way home? Or did you go Green+ mode to ensure you didn't have to call a tow truck on your first drive? My 100 mile drive home was a bit of a nail-biter, since I only had 6 miles of range left. Here is a picture FWIW, and I hope my comments help anyone else considering ordering a SE.
If not moving the SE uses very little electricity, unless you're heating or cooling. However, I sat in the car for about 30 minutes trying to get my Carplay working, and that might have used some of those precious electrons.
Just changed from 'at port' to 'in transit' yesterday, 12/28... so, right around 4 weeks waiting for a ship. Not sure yet which boat it's on, but a mid-Jan arrival at the Baltimore port looks likely. Hopefully it doesn't sit there very long before finding a spot on a truck.I think 6 weeks is unlikely, and I hope for your sake it gets loaded on a ship soon. I have been driving mine for 4 days now, and it is definitely worth the wait.
That's quite a recommendation, given that only twenty days ago you said "Almost exactly 6 months for this frustrating journey. I sure hope it was worth the wait."

What about your driving impressions? How does it compare with the cars in your historical stable?Yes, indeed I did say that.![]()
Maybe I should qualify that my initial impression is that I am pleased with the quality of the car. But I cannot deny that the 6 month wait, and being bumped out in the schedule, was very frustrating.
