Did reservation online on Feb 4th and confirmed my build that day. Not sure when the order actually got pushed through, sometime late February I believe. Had a production number beginning of March.I forget, when did you place your order?
Thank you. The spreadsheet is unwieldy on a phone so I am trying to gauge the current lag (post idling/MY changeover) post by post. I got a production number March 25 so perhaps six weeks behind yours; we’ll see what’s deleted and included on mine some time in early May I reckon. Mine’s the Canadian Iconic equivalent with added optional Piano Black trim and ACC, Powerspoke wheels. From everything I’m reading, I won’t necessarily miss MINI’s version of adaptive cruise control if it gets deleted, so I would use that credit to pay for window tinting before delivery.Did reservation online on Feb 4th and confirmed my build that day. I can verify the that production date shown in the hidden information is the date when it is planned to finish production. Mine shows 4/1 which is when it rolled off the production line. Body assembly began two days before that date. While logged into Mini My Garage (in Chrome browser on your desktop) - Press F12 to open Developer Options. A window will appear on the right of your page.

From there click on the "Network" tab at the top of the Developer Options tab and then Select "Fetch/XHR" tab just below that.
Now click on "My Vehicles" in the My Garage page (or refresh the page if you're already on "My Vehicles"), and you'll see some entries populate on the developer options side:

You can then click on the (usually first entry) "forward?group..." line and drill down into it to see estimated Production Date. This should be the estimated actual completion date for production. This is/was my experience using this info on the BMW side, and it looks identical on the Mini side so I don't see why not. I may give Ask Mini a call to confirm they see the same date as the actual production date estimate.

Yours is already produced, so it should definitely be accurateI can verify the that production date shown in the hidden information is the date when it is planned to finish production. Mine shows 4/1 which is when it rolled off the production line. Body assembly began two days before that date.
I almost feel like all this info makes the wait worse. I recently waited +9 months for a new mountain bike with zero info on when to expect it, it just showed up one day back in February. Those 9 months didn’t feel that long. I got lucky in that my SE will probably only take 3months or so from the time of deposit. It already feels longer!Don’t believe I’ve ever been jealous of online personae, but jeebus I’m envious that you fine folks in the US have so much production and tracking info at your fingertips! MINI Canada rep says to call my MA, my MA says he has no other info than the production number he was given on March 25th. Grrr.
I like to read all you worry’s about Mini SE I order one in end of November with delivery date March / April and two weeks later I get so sick being without a car I3 I sold the same time I start calling every dealer in 500 miles range of NY .Fortunately for me I locate English Green 65 miles away on December 15 .Dealer ask me for $1000 deposit send me a papers and I have Mini SE . He try to make me pic up a car on the last day of December 2021 but for my tax purposes I like to have a car in 2022 . I get a car on January 3 / 2022 what he didn’t know this was not making any difference for him to claim his tax for 2021 . Car come with heated steering wheel ,adaptive cruise, roof rails and glowing blue door panels which I noticed recently .Wheels 16” which provide the most comfortable ride for dally driving and a cheapest to replace .I pay $29999 and $250 roof rails,5 rubber mats $150 .He put eaching on windows I have to pay $399 but I have a Mini in two weeks without any sleepless nightsDon’t believe I’ve ever been jealous of online personae, but jeebus I’m envious that you fine folks in the US have so much production and tracking info at your fingertips! Awesome! Thank you so much. Looks like I'm scheduled for the 20th. I'm also showing a credit for the heated steering wheel and alarm. Kind of sad about the steering wheel. Even though it doesn't get very cold around here I still use it pretty often in our Volvo.
Now if I could just get a rough guideline on when my Rivian is supposed to show up...so far it's sometime between the end of this year and the end of this decade![]()
Ha! Only if you also thought it was a good idea to get a yellow R1T to match your SEs wing mirrorsHey! - I have an SE and R1T on order too (did we just become best friends?). Pretty excited about the combo but the wait is excrutiating...
Well you're ahead of me so there's that! My R1T reservation was placed Jan 22 haha. I hadn't really heard of it until late 21 when videos started coming out about it. Then took the wifey to the Venice hub and we laid down the deposit right away. Wish I was more tuned into the industry back in 2018.Ha! I kind of feel the same way about the Rivian as I did about my bike. I honestly have no idea when it’s going to show up, subsequently it doesn’t really feel real. We made our deposit back in fall 21 so there’s probably a good +45,000 people in front of us. I’m mostly just hoping they don’t go bankrupt. Sure they’ve given estimated deliveries in the past but I take those with a very healthy dose of salt. We’re planning on holding onto our Volvo V90 for a bit after both the SE and R1T show up in case we’re not ready for full EV. We had originally ordered an R1S but decided to switch somewhat recently. I finally saw a R1S in person and I’m glad we made the switch, the truck is better looking. What about you, will you be going EV only? Have you been waiting on the Rivian for a while… it’s been years for some people.

The MINI order came in Feb because I got impatient and wanted an BEV asap. Now I'm here waiting for two cars...
But yeah, going 100% EV, MINI for commuting solo drives (married no kids here)...R1T for journeys, outings. The R1T is replacing a Cooper S Conv which is currently the leisure car.
Oh...and for me: R1T is Glacier White, OC interior, not sure about wheels still (I've changed the wheels a dozen times in the configurator).
SE is Enigmatic black, white roof, yellow mirror caps, white racing stripes, power spoke wheels. All the wife's choices but it looks rad in the render!
Would love to hear updates on both of your orders...see you around!
Make that three. I preordered an R1T a couple of weeks before the price rise. So, since my Model 3 Performance lease ends later this year, I realized we’d need something to fill the gap - the SE was the perfect option for our needs. So, I ordered an SE mid-March. When it arrives I’ll just end my Tesla lease early, which the system says will cost me $0 to do.
Nice! Our SE's are quite similar, we ordered an Enigmatic Black, body color roof, yellow mirror caps, satellite grey interior, and power spoke wheels. We actually debated doing the white roof...but now the car is in production, so body color it is. Same in that my wife more or less picked the colors/wheels. Personally I would've went with BRG/white roof/17" Rail wheels, but the Enigmatic Black looks quite sharp...though I've never actually seen it in person.
As for the R1T our current build is a Compass Yellow, adventure pack, Black Mountain interior with the 20" All terrain wheels. Our original build was a Compass Yellow R1S, adventure pack, OC interior with the 21" Road wheels. After ordering the SE we decided we only want one vehicle with a white interior as we have kids. I'm about 15 minutes away from Rivian's Palo Alto facility so I see R1T's reasonably often. This being Silicon Valley I'm sure in a year or so Rivian's will be everywhere...I'm already starting to see Lucid's fairly often...where as even now SE's are a rarity. Almost all of the R1T's I've seen have the 20" All-Terrain wheels, I've seen maybe one with the 20" All-Terrain Bright wheels, which look good. The R1S I saw the other day (which was a test vehicle still in wrap) had the 21" Road wheels, which I did not care for in person. Just saw a white R1T yesterday, looked sharp. I wish we had a Hub up here, I assume one will open up at some point.
Our story is similar to yours. Ordered the R1T a while ago but decided we'd like a BEV sooner, hence the SE. The SE will be used for putting around town and occasional commuting. Our two kids are tiny, just like me and my wife...we'll all fit in a the Mini just fine if necessary. We had a first gen i3 REX back in 2015 which had a 72 mile EV range before the range extender kicked in. We rarely used the range extender so we're perfectly comfortable with the "low" range of the SE. We both really liked the i3 for what it was and I had a 12' Clubman JCW which was a hoot. The combo of the two has us quite excited about the SE, though I'll admit I'll be sad to trade in my 5 series for it. I love that car but my wife hates it. There's a chance we might just trade in the V90 at the time of taking delivery on the R1T and go pure EV. Who knows what it will be worth at the time of delivery but I'm sure it would make way more financial sense to just rent a car for the few road trips where we might want an ICE vehicle instead dealing with owning three vehicles.
