Dealer just informed me that no more 2022 Mini Cooper SE are being produced

Been like that a few weeks. Frustrating since my dealer has my 500 deposit, and the three boxes to check and he cant order it since BMW didnt open up blue. My wife is wondering if it will ever happen, and wondered if we should just order the gray. But she likes blue.

Waited on hold an hour yesterday. Called today, said i was next in que. waited 15 minutes and decided to let them call me back. I cant listen to the pompous sounding AI voice every few seconds telling me to wait.

Edit: got a call back after about another 15 minutes. Very nice sounding gal put me on hold for a few minutes to look into it. Bottom line, the dealer can order the car when the system (and website she thinks) gets updated. It will get updated when it gets updated. She said it a bit nicer than that.

I am glad I was one of the first to put money down on a 2023 hoping to get it around May only to wonder if i will get the last 2023 off the line.

It's now March and I'm trying to decide when to place my order. Sales person has not mentioned website problems. What do you mean by wondering if will be last 2023 off the line?

That poster has a specific issue with the online ordering system not being updated to allow for blue as a color option. No reason to delay unless you want blue.

As others mentioned, island blue is a new for 23 color on the signature plus and iconic SE. The configurator has not been updated to allow my dealer to order a 23.

If you want any color but blue, go ahead and order it.

By the time the get the configurator going, and with the 2024 rumored to be the Great Wall all new model, I have a feeling my order may be the last 2023 off the line.

So does anyone have any info on what the 2024 model change will include?

If you don't have a production number/production week along with the VIN at this point, it's going to be a 2023 as this is the last week of 2022 production.

My production week is week 8 so I was contemplating changing my order to 2023 but decided against it since the rates would be higher at the beginning of the new MY and I may have to wait another month or two for it

Has your car been built yet?

To follow up on mine (also posted in the delivery tracking thread), my car is a '22 and was built March 1. I'm guessing with the production stoppages at the Oxford plant the '22 production went longer than planned, and I probably have one of the last ones. I'm glad I got the '22 as I ordered the base trim in red with white roof. I see the '23 base trim is body-color roof only, which I didn't want.

I'm in Canada and both MINI Canada and the dealership has very limited info on the stage of production. It just shows as 'In Production' and has been that way for the past two while. It's unlike in MINI garage where it will even show that it is in the paint booth.

I tried calling MINI North America (which is pretty much MINI USA), and they cannot access my VIN/production number.

It looks like you can now build your own 2023 on MINI USA website.
That is in the last 4 hours. Signature is not available. Green is gone from plus. Raised cross punch leather from 500 to 750. Anthracite headliner is no cost option i think. What is the difference?

Also checkered dash instead of piano black looks like no cost option. Who has a good picture of that?

Also, i think the multi tone roof is no cost. At least is is as of now.

i think the msrp went up 750. playing with configurator. no options and it adds 750, then 850

here is what i got so far. the MSRP went up, but it isnt on the front page. No options, before destination charge 34,650. Was 33,900. That 750 just appears when you hit the color screen.
Leather is 750, total 35,400,
stripe 150 total 35,550
Destination 850, total 36,400 is what my build is showing.

Prior, 33,900 + 500, +150 (I know wasn't available in 2022) +850 = 35,400. The gray I put $250 down on last week was 35,250 (no stripes).

So i footed, and cross footed, and cant figure out where the first 750 came from. Must be a price hike not on the first page. I bet the MSRP goes up 750 tomorrow when they update the web page again.

Also looks like touch screen plus is a must on iconic.

Question - I put my order in last week on gray using the 2022 configurator, and put $250 down. If I stick with gray will it be $1,000 less than if I order a gray today? If my salesman changes my color from gray to blue, will it be old or new price? Is BMW taking cues from Rivian's recent media debacle?

Since I put down $500 in early February for a blue one that my salesman couldn't order, am i at the old or new price on that car?

Yes, the dealer has $$ on two cars.

The website configurator is broken. Don’t trust anything it produces at the moment. I have a 2023 BRG Sig in production that I was told had no price change from the 2022 by dealer and that isn’t even an option.
