Combo chargers

Plugshare seems to think I can use a combo CCS/SAE charger in the Clarity. I find this unlikely.

Are they right?
 
Not in the PHEV Clarity. Only possible on Japanese model and maybe the California dudes with the BEV Clarity.
PHEVs only get the J1772, max 32 amp from the wall or ~7.2 amp charging rate.

Also in my PlugShare app, I had to manually enter what charging options I wanted to show up on the map. It didn’t automatically select ones for the Clarity. Is that a Canadian thing?

Yes, the BEV Clarity can use a CCS/SAE charger. Remember the Clarity comes in 3 flavors, PHEV, BEV and hydrogen.

The BEV and hydrogen models are only leased in California.
 
On this note, does plugshare do a good job of showing charger in-use status ?
I find that a lot of the charger stations show up as grey (no usage info) in the Hondalink app.
I am guessing this is due to the brand of the L2 charger.

Looking for an app or website that supports real-time availability for multiple brand L2 chargers.
