The only problem with that is that the base seems to have the same seat material around the cloth that we have around the perforated leather. Our entire seat can’t be leather, can it?
 
I did the RainX on glass but I still haven't washed my car yet but I need to. How often do you reapply the RainX?

I did the windshield application several months ago and it’s still working but I also add RainX to the wiper fluid so that’s probably extending the period between treatments. When I notice the rain no longer beads up and flies off around 35-40 mph I plan to reapply.
Im pleasantly surprised that I don’t have to apply it very often as it take some effort to buff it off till it’s clear.

I know what you mean. This was the first time I had used it and I wasn't sure how long to wait before I could buff off that white haze. I ended up driving to work the next day and thinking.."why are my windows so dirty?" I buffed it off that night and now the glass is BEAUTIFUL!
 
I use Aquapel rather than RainX - it lasts several months. I wonder what would happen if I used RainX in the wiper fluid after applying Aquapel.

I think you would be fine. They both use a silane type of chemical to bind to the glass and make it hydrophobic or water repelling. It’s 2 butoxyethanol to be technical. (Source: MSDS sheets for both). Note that PPG originally made Aquapel and sold out to Trico. I could not find a Trico MSDS, but I doubt they changed the formula.

I recall the base seats have leather around the edges for durability. I think the confusion comes when the touring specs say perforated leather-trimmed seats.In this instance trimmed actually means equipped with. The same way the models distinctions are referred to as trim.

Can you let us know how the road noise after installed the plugs?
 
I had the plugs put in at the beginning of the week but I don't hear or feel any difference afterward. Possibly because I drive with the windows up most of the time.
 
On my old 2014 Accord V6 EX-L with genuine leather trimmed seats, I've used what I've always been using on my Brooks leather bicycle saddle... The Proofide! Just a tad goes a long way. Also works great on conditioning the leather-wrapped steering wheel. https://amzn.to/2TimdKK That is... if you liked the natural cod oil smell as I do.

But now I've got a base model Clarity... The center area of the seat is fabric (thank god) It's actually way more comfortable and less hot to sit on than the perforated leather seat on my EX-L..

For exterior... I use the pink clean+wax concentrate bought from Costco Wholesale for general dirt cleaning, and then use the Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax https://amzn.to/2Th1k2w for deep shine and long-term paint protection. I've used this combo for years on my 2014 accord v6 for which I've traded in for clarity last week and it maintained the paint quite well for the time being.

here is the pic of my old accord at the dealer right before trade-in last week it's actually more shiny than anything they had on the lot... The liquid wax works it's magic and also repels water build up

I'm wondering what experiences people are having with the white "suede" trim in the Touring, and what products are being used to clean/protect it. Wife and I were paranoid about it getting soiled so I applied a couple coats of Gyeon Q2 Fabric coat to protect it and so far, so good, but I'm still a bit concerned about it getting smudged up.

I have a red touring with the tan fuzzy interior. We didn't apply anything to it, and in the nine months we've had the car there hasn't been any place that has gotten dirty or stained, including the driver's door where I rest my arm. I think they treated that stuff at the factory with a protectant/repellent of some kind.
