I’m sure we will see a slew of Honda advertising on this very topic!
I wonder if Honda will even bother to update their website.
With the demise of the Volt, there isn’t anything with much available EV range other than the BMWi3REx which is about $15K more and probably not something a prospective Clarity owner would consider.
There is a six-figure Karma with a 37 mile range or a Chrysler mini-van with a 32 mile range at the same price point as the Honda. There may be something else in the works.
The above is based on an Inside EV’s chart of PHEV’s dated 7/22/19, which shows nothing else with more than 30 miles of range.
The 47 mile range and cost were important factors for us. They essentially eliminated all other vehicles.

Same here - glad I got this wonderful car.
If gas prices ever double in other states to match that of California, I would be certain the Clarity will sell well outside CA.
