I also like that there is an option in the CP app to "Start Charging Now" to override the schedule if needed. I thought I'd need to cancel the schedule if I wanted to start charging outside of that time.
You can also override your schedule by just unplugging the Chargepoint from your Clarity and plugging it back in again within a few seconds.

You can also just plug and unplug within 3 seconds to over ride the charging schedule. It’s easier for me than pulling out the phone and opening the app. It will go from the pulsing green (scheduled) to blue (plugged in) to pulsing blue (charging) and after charging will keep your schedule and be ready as always.

Another question for other Chargepoint owners.... Did yours come with a cap for the end of the charger? I love everything about the Chargepoint but I'm surprised mine doesn't have a cap like the cord that Honda supplied with the car, with a little rubber cord to keep it from getting lost. I really wish Chargepoint had supplied this. I realize they intend for it to be hung on the receptacle but there are times I'd like to leave it coiled outside and a cap would have been nice. I am contemplating trying to relocate the cap from the OEM cord into the Chargepoint and use something else to seal the end of the OEM cord stored in my trunk...

I can't seem to get this trick to work on either of our Claritys, am I missing a step?

Do you have a charging schedule configured in the Clarity's settings? If so, you might want to disable it and only have a schedule set in the ChargePoint configuration itself.

Yes. The ChargePoint <3 sec plug/unplug only disables the ChargePoint Home’s schedule, not the Clarity’s schedule.
