Will the failed US-Canada trade deal lead to an increase of the import quota of Chinese EVs into Canada?​

Best thing ever is for Canada:​

The typically usual "sorry but" best thing ever is for Canada to rid itself of Detroit Auto shenanigans. Leave the legacy auto lacklustre boring vehicles for the Americans and move into the future.

I was expecting Trump to close the new Gordie Howe International Bridge between Detroit and Windsor last week. The damage being done to the US' and Canadian auto industry in so many ways is beyond calculation.

Fortunately Trump will die and with the rise of Democratic Socialists in the USA there is a glimmer of hope for a reduction in the class warfare against workers in Canada and the USA.
