Curt C11417 is the one I bought. To your earlier question, yes the whole rear bumper has to be removed for the installation.

I also put the JCW front end and rear from OutMotoring, plus a carbon fiber JCW rear spoiler on my 2022 SE. I filled the exhaust opening with a black plastic grill, and did the strip on the front, the mirror caps and my brake calipers in yellow.

Actually, the original rear wheel arches DO NOT fit with the JCW rear bumper. I know because I tried, and had to get the JCW arches after the fact.
 
@bggale does it bother you that the front and rear arches don't match? The JCW rear arch has the little part that sticks out more.

The SE has a 15mm ride height increase over the JCW or S models so the SE arches are about 15mm bigger to make the tire gap consistent. Since you have the SE front arches with the JCW rear arches, the gaps are wrong.

I think it needs the front JCW arches installed and then you need to get coilovers so you can get the tire gap right. It looks like you raised the car and ready to go offroad.

Did you block off the upper portion of the grill so it has the same airflow as stock? I used this to block off the upper portion of my grill and it is working great. It should help with range and the upper portion only has the AC condenser. The lower portion with the shutters is where the battery cooling is located.

And while not knocking this terrific modification project, I think if I went that far I'd also look for a set of 18 inch JCW rims, brakes, and appropriate non-runflat tires.

I considered upgrading the brakes, but decided to just paint the stockers, since I NEVER use them anyway...
As for the comments regarding lowering the car, swapping to 18" wheels and tires, etc etc, I've done ALL of that of previous cars, and frankly, it was not worth the trouble and expense (or handling). I did find a nice set of coilovers that will just slightly drop the car (like 10mm) but I decided to wait until I need to replace the stockers. Incidentally - there are not that many that are designed specifically to work with the weight of the SE. I found a set, and they are not cheap.
 
ST X and ST XA coilovers are the best bang for the buck that are specifically designed for the SE.

I’m not in improvement of SE but what I’m reading about SE is a best range wise on 16 “ tires and a most comfort on any road as you apply different modes a car is different as I’m driving on Sport all a time is very ridgit drive but the best if you really try to push a car to top performance. You can’t do anything with to add more HP and anything you do is just a waist of money .What I do with my SE is all cosmetics to be different on a road .All driving SE is skills like all cars if you can’t add 50 HP I race you with your 18” wheels without any trouble on NY streets or Highway..In my case I never look to make milage on EV I burn my electrons to a limit to have a fun to drive Electric as road sharing people try to abuse small car a SE and I’m proving them wrong as SE is really speedy car and my yellow light are intimidating as they on and I noticed people get out of my way when I’m approaching them with high speed and I eliminate a hood scoop for cheap without replacing a hood scoop

Hi,

I'm looking to convert my F56 LCI2 SE front bumper to JCW as well, as I'm looking at the parts diagram, do we need part #4 and #5? Or we can reuse?

I'm pretty sure you need parts #4, but I'm not sure what #5 is. I ordered the entire kit from OutMotoring, and I used everything that they included, except a bunch of the hardware, which I was able to re-use from my car. Of course, my car only had a couple hundred miles on it at the time (it was brand new) so the existing hardware was like new, also. I did it over two years ago, so I don't remember every detail (my car is a 2022, picked up New Year's Eve of 2021). Did I mention that I had to replace both rear wheel arches, since the SE ones were too short?
 
Isn't PDC the "park distance control" sensor? If so, it could be the JCW front end has slightly different mounting for it.
 
If they are the 'Park Distance Control' mounts - yes - you need them because they mount in different locations with the JCW bumper cover.
 
Hello, can someone please share the link to the rear bumper / diffuser kit on outmotoring? Also, does anyone know if the kit is available somewhere in the EU?

I want to convert my ECE MINI SE 2022 also with different front and rear bumper.
I was hoping (maybe @rob-sf) some one could tel me iff the bumpers from the jcw or S pictures in these post are just a matter of swapping them over, or do You need alot of extra work?

Maybe Some pictures taken between putting the bumper on and off?

It's alway best to revive an old thread than to start a new one with the same topic. It keeps the important information in the same place.

That said, I went the other direction. I found a way to make my 2021 SE look even more electrical by replacing the hood with a one that didn't have the fake hood scoop (see my avatar photo to the left).

Will you be adding a tailpipe, too?
