BMW high power charging working for NACS CCS1 adapter at TSCN

BMW made their own NACS adapter because BMW. ECS has it listed for $149.99 and ships 18 December
Is the General Quality and Error Correction software update required for BMW EVs to use the adapter?
Will there be a MINI-branded NACS adapter, too? If so, it probably ships 18 December, 2026.

Seems to be working at the Brighton, MI site today. Some MINI successfully charged there just recently.

The adaptors are dumb, any of the available adaptors would work. The reason that we can't use SCs yet is because Tesla won't let us. Keep checking the Tesla app for available stations to see if they are letting us charge.

They are waiting to release their own. I suspect the rollout was delayed because bmw didn’t want an off the shelf solution

NFJ24NCC - 5% off coupon code for Lectron (they emailed me after i left the site ... not sure how they got my email, but they did)

I don't need it so someone else an use it!

It's official at BMW starting today. Lectron Vortex Plus is the alternative BMW recommended adapter for $174.99.
My U25 Countryman is installing the NACS compatibility software update (11/2025.30) as I type this. The notification about this update mentioned "future availability" of the adapter, and that I would eventually be able to buy it through the app.
