Since we are talking about Blue-link...does anyone have the option to activate the seat warmers when "preconditioning" using remote start presets? The instructions show that to be an option (see photo) but I don't see it as an option when I set the presets. Am I missing something?

Seat warmers are specifically excluded from pre-heating on Bluelink in Canada (and if I recall correctly, Europe). I think Bluelink US simply forgot to remove the seat icon from the graphic interface.

Seems like they are "forgetting" a lot of things.

I've noticed (for the first time in two years) that my preprogrammed off-peak charge times did not automatically update to Daylight Saving Time this week. Anybody else notice this?

I do not know if this is related, but the clock does not update to daylight savings time or reset when daylight savings time ends. Unless there is something I should be doing to automate the process.

I have never noticed. I'll have to look more closely. Thanks.

There is a chechbox for daylight savings time on the clock setup screen. When I checked it it automatically moved the clock ahead an hour. I don't know if that means in fall I will need to uncheck it, or if it means that on the appointed day in the fall it will switch to standard time automatically. We shall see...

I remember this now from my initial setup 2 years ago! I'm sure I would have set it. Must have come undone somehow.

I believe you have to uncheck it. A really poor design, not to have it automatically update!

you will have to uncheck it, it has never switched automatically for me.

It's not just you, seems everyone has had to call Customer Service. Apparently they want you to wait to get an e-mail from BlueLink before you register and set it up, once you complete the sale and the dealer sends all the information, not once you have a VIN. I got my e-mail while I was at the dealership, however it wouldn't register. Called Customer Service and they took my info down and told me they would have it fixed in a couple days. Apparently there are issues with the server connections, and all the information isn't properly entered. Well the next day I got another e-mail and I was good to register. Oh, and they prefer you registering on your computer, not sure why.

Anybody that has Bluelink up and running, how do you remote start the vehicle? I can't seem to find it!!! Here is what my BlueLink screen looks like:

I don't have as many options as some people.
How come?
I have the 2021 Kona electric.

Not sure what choices you think are missing but I will point out that there is no "remote start" with the EV (as opposed to an ICE Kona) because it doesn't need it. Remote start is used to turn on the climate controls and that choice exists on Bluelink as HVAC settings.

I don't have the flashing headlights or horn.
I understand the lack of requirement for engine start like ICE.
