Does Nio make less-expensive EVs without swappable batteries for rural owners who don't want to pay for technology that doesn't offer them any benefit? Or are Nio EVs sold only to urban customers?

maybe we’ll see hybrid models where commercial fleets or taxis use it first.

Private, this can work, eg in a city taxi cab situation. There's a depot, swap units. The company owns all the batteries.

Then there's the idea of like Grill propane tank swaps. you never know what you're getting, is it reconditioned, 8 years old? etc etc.

it would have to be like a membership program, needs unificiation of battery size, shape, bms, connections across brands, etc.

Sounds like a good place for ISO to step in?
