Even at the $190K level, you don't get one-pedal drive? Pass.

I wonder why no EV made by the conglomerate, including Porsche and VW, offers one-pedal drive as an optional setting? It's probably corporate lawyers fearing safety lawsuits who put the kibosh on one-pedal driving.

I'm glad the German EV makers Mercedes and BMW choose to cater to drivers like me who love one-pedal drive (in my MINI Cooper SE). I'm thinking the upcoming BMW i3 may be the ideal replacement for my 2018 Honda Clarity PHEV (unfortunately, at twice the price and even heavier than the 2-ton Clarity).
