Mine will be something like that, but with the EVSE about six inches lower (so a bit closer to the receptacle).

I feel like it was an engineering mistake. It's clearly made to mount on the wall and you clearly need to see the colors (they have different meanings) while it's charging. I ended up mounting mine with a garage storage system that I already had. The wire does have a twist on it, but it's not extreme. Hasn't affected anything thus far and is working well.
Thx for photo.

I wrote in another thread that even though I paid for a 3D-printed mount for the Flexible Fast Charger, I think I’ll go ahead and order a Grizzl-E Smart ($699+tax Canadian) and apply for the $600 Quebec EVSE rebate. The fine print on the rebate says it’s not available if the dealership offers a bonus or coupon for a charging station, but the Flex doesn’t appear to be a line item on the sales contract, just like the L1 cable isn’t on there. I could be mistaken, though, so I’ll hold off until I take delivery.

I CAD'ed a simple wall mount and 3D printed it for the 2023 charger. Works great since I do not plan on carrying it with me. I also bought a EV cord hanger from Amazon.

I put it on Thingiverse if anyone wants it.
