BMW has announced a new update for the My BMW App and MINI App: a new feature that lets drivers view their personal carbon footprint. It's designed for use with traditional ICE vehicles as well as BEVs and plug-in hybrids.

Let's just say, that's not in the MINI app for a while yet. It's not in 5.7.0...

You can use the 2023 EPA data to make the calculation yourself. The US national average is 770.884 pounds of CO2e/MWh or 349.67g CO2e/kWh. Likewise in QC, the carbon intensity was 1.2g CO2e/kWh.

Don't get me started on the Zero Energy Building standards in USA..that's complete rubbish.
