Accord Hybrid Pricing released...

It's a good price, but I think they are targeting different consumers. The Accord Hybrid is for those who want a normal ICE vehicle with the higher gas mileage that a hybrid can provide, whereas the Clarity (in PHEV form) is for those who want to mainly drive EV but still have the added range that an ICE can provide. From what I've heard, the Accord Hybrid only has a 3kWh battery, good for EV only driving in the low teens.

Plus, since the Clarity qualifies for the full $7500 federal tax credit (among other incentives for EVs) the final price--if you can take advantage of the full credit--can still end up cheaper than a similarly specced Accord Hybrid.
